Here at BAM, we believe in the importance of preserving our natural environment. The land that our people, animals, and crops grow and flourish from must be protected.
We are able to take steps toward this by using sustainable packaging for our meals as well as delivering in bulk with electric vehicles.
It starts with our sustainably sourced paper and cardboard containers. Waxed paper is used to prevent moisture from soaking through and leaking. Then carboard is used to insalate and protect the food inside. Spoilage is prevented by making food fresh and delivered locally.
With this we are able to save 28% of energy as well as 7,000 galons of water that would've otherwise been used for non-disposable plastics. Our company operates mainly with electric vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint. Renewable energy sources are also cheeper and more efficient. In using electric shipping vehicles, BAM can keep the air clean as well as costs down for everyone in the BAM FAM.
